If Thermostat Repair or Replacement in your Home or Office: A thermostat can make a big difference in saving money and being comfortable. We know how to work on older thermostats as well as the current models, including "smart" thermostats.
Have you tried to replace your thermostat on your own and got half way through and realized this may be a project for the pros? Don't worry, we have your back. Just let us know your issue and we can head over to take care of it. It only takes one minute to give us a call and have your comfort back in no time.
Perhaps you want to try and trouble shoot the problem on your own before calling us. Try looking at the anticipator. Once you are inside your thermostat and looking at everything, try one of two things.
1. If the Unit is going on and off too frequently, then try setting it closer to the "longer" setting. Be sure to only move it one mark at a time.
2. If the unit won't seem to get the temperature to what you have set it, try moving it further away from the "longer" setting.
Typically you want the anticipator to be between .2 and .8 amps. If you are not sure how to get into your thermostat or feel uneasy at all about trouble shooting it, just call 956-265-3131 and we can do the work for you.
(Trouble shoot at your own risk.)
And just to be sure, if you have an electronic unit, make sure it has good batteries and everything is clean inside. Sometimes just a little dust can interrupt the service of your thermostat and you can save yourself a service call.
